In general, AV and I.T. equipment is on a short term loan and
will be signed out to a St. Andrew's staff member to be used for school purposes.Patrons are to see Ms. Peyman, Mrs. Pilieci or Mr. Treasure to request
a loan or to return loaned equipment. Mr. Dawson will check returned
equipment and see that outgoing equipment is in good working order.
Mr. Dawson will tape a session * or give instruction upon request. * (see Copyright Policy)
Student Use
Students may borrow equipment with signed permission of and under the authority of a staff member
in order to work on class projects but must return the equipment
to the library at the end of the school day.
It is understood that the use and care of the equipment is the joint responsibility
of the sponsoring staff member and the student.
Both may be liable for damages or replacement in the event of misuse or loss or theft.
Extended Loan Periods
In general, the library discourages the overnight loan of equipment. However, exceptional
circumstances may warrant an extended loan period. Staff members may request this of the library staff.
In such cases the equipment will be loaned under the authority of a staff member who
assumes full responsibility for its care and for its prompt return at the end of the loan period.
