Our Future and Our World

Humanitarianism is defined as an ethic of kindness, benevolence and sympathy extended universally and impartially to all human beings. As citizens in an increasingly global world that is larger than political boundaries we as Memorial House Boys understand that it is important to support those who have less. This page is dedicated to links about our humanitarian endeavours as a house to help others both in Canada and abroad. Click the link below:

World Vision Sponsor Child 2009/2010

June 10, 2010: Pranav Agarwal, Shawn Kim, Seung-Jin An, David Hsieh,  and Mark Choi won a $5000 grant for Doane House Hospice through The Youth and Philanthrophy Initiative (YPI).  As a civics project, the team selected a charity, researched, visited, interviewed, and filmed a short documentary.  Their film was selected by the YPI and thus the Doane House Hospice was awarded the grant which will help cover the hospice's food costs for a year.
