2 Platoon: Marksmanship and Drill (Cadet Rifle Range)

 

3 Platoon: Map and Compass Training

 

4 Platoon: Leadership Assignment

 

1 Platoon and 2 Platoon will change into athletic attire for today's training.

 

3 Platoon and 4 Platoon will remain in their school uniforms and will require their laptop for training purposes.

7 Thu, 27 Oct Army Cadet Fitness Testing.

All cadets shall wear appropriate attire for physical training, including running shoes.

Cadets will be participate in six different fitness assessments including: sit-ups, push-ups, shoulder flexibility, trunk lift, hamstring flexibility, and the shuttle run (beep test).

We will meet in the chapel for a briefing and then move to Yuill Gymnasium

12 Thu, 8 Dec All students will finish their Military Lesson Plans that they will teach in January.

 

Students will work in their regular platoon classrooms. (C31, C32, C33, C34)

 

Any student that has yet to submit ALL of their Leadership Modules will have to meet with Mr. Ramon.

Finish your Military Lesson Plan by 11:00 tonight and submit it to Turn-it-in.com and the Silver Star Submissions Conference.

 

Choose one of the following 13 lessons and create a lesson plan. The instructions for each lesson can be found on this link:  Green Star Handbook

Please be prompt wit your arrival after school (3:45).

You are required to wear your full cadet uniform including:

Glengarry

Tunic (Scarlett)

Kilt & Kilt Pin

Sporran

Red Hose

Flashes

Boots & Spats

If you don't have these items, please ensure that you make arrangements to visit the cadet wing before the Dec.15th parade.
