Bio
David Stewart joined the faculty in 2000 as a history teacher in the Upper School. He holds a BA(Hons.), with a major in history and minor in drama, and a B.Ed. specializing in history from Queen’s University. Prior to coming to St. Andrew’s, he worked at Queen’s University as a Recruitment Officer. David is now the Department Head of History and Social Sciences for the Upper School and Housemaster of Flavelle House. He helps to organize the annual St. Andrew’s College Remembrance Day Ceremony and assisted in the organization of the first SAC Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony. David is also the lead in the planning and organizing of the annual Battlefield Tour to France and Belgium, 2003-2012. This year, he is the Receivers Coach for U16 Football and is the Head Coach of U16 Hockey. David lives on campus in Flavelle House with his wife Natascia and their two children, Conor and Hannah.
