In
early November, the 1st Basketball team will once again take to the hardcourt to begin a highly
anticipated 2008-09 season. A strong nucleus of last year's team
remains, as 8 of the 12 players have returned for their final year of
varsity basketball. Along with talented athletes moving up from last
year's U16 team and new students to the school, all of the players should
gel together into a highly competitive team. The squad should achieve
tremendous success if they manage to buy into the philosophy of playing
hard, playing smart, and playing together. Coach Ludwig looks forward
to developing the talents of the Saints to prepare them for an exceptional
season at the varsity level. Information relating to team tryouts and
schedule information will be made available as it develops.
