Flight Sergeant Arthur G. Innes

Flight Sergeant Arthur Gordon Innes attended St. Andrew's College, Aurora, Ontario from 1929 to 1932.

He served in 429 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force and was shot down over Berlin, December 29, 1943. He is buried Tubbergen (Albergen) Roman Catholic Cemetery, Netherlands (Grave Reference: Grave 7.)  

Albergen is a small village in the commune of Tubbergen, lying 5 kilometres south of the village of Tubbergen and 8 kilometres west of Almelo. The church stands in the centre of the village, with the churchyard 50 yards to the south. The British plot is on the western side of the churchyard, near the boundary hedge. It contains the graves of four airmen, four of whom came from the United Kingdom and the others from Canada.
