Captain W. T. Hollinger
Captain Welland T. Hollinger attended St. Andrew's College from 1936 to 1938.
Following graduation he enlisted in the Canadian Army where he fought with the West Nova Scotia Regiment and attained the rank of Captain.
After the war, "Welly" attended Bishops University and studied law at Osgoode Hall. In 1950, he was called to the bar and continued to practice law for 17 years before his appointment as a Judge of the District Court in Thunder Bay. He sat as a Justice of the General Division and Superior Court in Thunder Bay, Windsor, Ottawa and Pembroke.
He died on August 6, 2005 in Thunder Bay, Ontario and was survived by his wife Mary and sons David and Peter.
