Captain E. Winnett Thompson

Captain Edward Winnett Thompson was born August 23, 1893, the son of Mrs. A. Thompson, of Niagara-on-the-Lake and husband of Dorothy B. Thompson, of Toronto. He attended St. Andrew's College from 190(1)7 to 1910.

He served in the First World War as a Lieutenant with the Canadian Engineering Motor Transport Company, and in the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. 

He died at Niagara-on-the-Lake January 23, 1945 at the age of  53 and is buried at Toronto (Mount Pleasant) Cemetery, Ontario, Canada (Grave Reference: Plot X. Lot 7.)
