Lieutenant Roger M. Porter

Lieutenant Roger Morrow Porter was born May 18, 1896 the son of Mr. E. Guss Porter, K.C., M.P., and Annie Porter, of Belleville, Ontario, and the husband of Edith Porter, of London, England. He attended St. Andrew's College from 1911 to 1915.

He enlisted in Belleville, Ontario on March 5th, 1916 with the 155th Reserve Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. Porter was serving with the 2nd Battalion when he was killed in action on August 30th, 1918 at the age of 20. He is buried in the Quebec Cemetery, France (Grave Reference: B. 49.)
