Stan MacFarlane
SAC Master 1947-1982

Stan "Duke" MacFarlane attended Riverdale Collegiate, followed by the University of Toronto and then the College of Education.

In 1940 he enlisted with the our affiliated unit, the 48th Highlanders and went overseas to Sicily, Italy and the Low Countries during the Second World War.

He took a course at the Sorbonne and then returned to Canada in 1947 to join the staff of St. Andrew's College where he taught French and Latin for 35 years before retiring in 1982.
