Photos From Royal Naval Air Station Vendome, France

At least two Andreans trained at the Royal Naval Air Station at Vendome, France during the the First World War: Flight Sub Lieutenant Theodore (Ted) Charles May and Lieutenant Ewan Sutherland Campbell.

The photographs below were taken by Flight Sub Lieutenant Richard Alexander Nicholson, who came from Lincolnshire and who was in training at the Royal Naval Air Station Vendome, France from March until May, 1917. The aircraft pictured were all used as training aircraft at Vendome. Our thanks to Paul Donnellan for providing them to us.
