Captain Anthony L. Smith

Captain Anthony Larrett Smith was the son of Goldwin Larratt Smith and Alice Larratt Smith, of Toronto, Ontario and the husband of Ann Helena Smith, of Toronto. He attended St. Andrew's College from 1925 to 1926.

Beny-Sur-Mer CemeteryHe served with the 12th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery, 16th Battery, and was killed in action in France on August 27, 1944 at the age of 36. He is buried  in the Beny-Sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery, France (Grave Reference: XVI.D.15.)  There are a total of 2048 burials in Beny-sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery.
