Sergeant William A. McKenzie
SAC 1940-1943

Sergeant William (Bill) A. McKenzie attended St. Andrew’s College from 1940 to 1943. He was involved in many activities during his time at S.A.C., including Head Prefect, First team Rugby and Basketball, as well as a Cadet Corps Officer.

After leaving St. Andrew’s, he joined the Canadian Army (48th Highlanders) for two years before studying at the University of Western Ontario. He was involved in a number of media related businesses throughout his career, including the Leamington Post and News and CHOK radio station. Bill eventually settled in the investment management field until his retirement at age 75.

He died July 5, 2004, in London, Ontario and was survived by his wife Anne, and children Jane, Julie, Martha and Andrea.
