Captain Erskine R. Eaton
SAC 1924-1926

Captain Erskine Robert Eaton was the son of Robert Young Eaton (who was the third President of Eaton's Ltd and nephew of the founder Timothy Eaton) and Hazel Margaret Ireland, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was the brother of Lieutenant Colonel John Wallace Eaton, DSO, OBE and Lieutenant Alan Young Eaton and attended St. Andrew's College from January 8, 1924 to June 19, 1926. 

He served in Les Fusiliers de Mont Royal of the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps but was killed in action at Dieppe on August 19, 1942 at the age of 27. He is buried in Brookwood Military Cemetery, Surrey, United Kingdom (Grave Reference: 38. E. 9.)
