Lt D.M. Dickie Tombstone - Inscribed with Dileas Gu BrathLieutenant David Munn Dickie was the son of Edward and Gwendolene Munn Dickie, of Toronto, Ontario. 

He attended St. Andrew's College from 1933 to 1937 where he was an all round student and Head Prefect.

He joined our Corps' affiliated regiment, the 48th Highlanders of Canada and was killed in action, at Cassino, Italy, May 15, 1944 at the age of 25.

He is buried in the Cassino War Cemetery, Italy (Grave Reference: V.C.21.) and his tombstone shown on this page, is inscribed with the 48th motto "Dileas Gu Brath".

He is also remembered in Memorial House, St. Andrew's College.
