H. R. Lindsay Wright
Cadet Commanding Officer 1913-1914
Lieutenant Henry Robert Lindsay Wright was born May 30, 1896, the son of Henry and Ida Adele Wright, of 584 Avenue Rd, Toronto. He attended St. Andrew's College from 1907 to 1914 where he was a prefect for two years, and Captain of both the Cricket and championship 1st Football teams. In 1913-14 he served as the Cadet Commanding Officer of the Cadet Corps.

Wright enrolled on September 18, 1915, and served in the 1st Canadian Division, 14th Trench Mortar Battery. He was killed in action on August 28th, 1918 at aged 22, apparently seated at the regimental mess and killed by a high explosive shell. He is buried in Achicourt Road Cemetery, Achicourt, France (Grave Reference: D. 25.)
