Gunner Jardine T. Wilson

#337919 Gunner Jardine Turner Wilson was born in Toronto, Ontario, September 26, 1897, the son of P. Turner Wilson and Isabel Wilson of 7 Rowanwood Avenue, Toronto. He attended St. Andrew's College from 1910 to 1914, and then University College (University of Toronto) from 1914 to 1916 where he played rugby, was a member of Kappa Alpha and served in the school's Canadian Officers Training Corps.

When he enlisted on May 23, 1916 with the 67th Battery, he had served two years with the University Canadian Officer Training Corps.  He was serving with the 24th Battery, Canadian Field Artillery when he was killed in action at Passchendaele on November 23rd, 1917 at the age of 20 years. He is buried in the Vlamertinghe New Military Cemetery, Belgium (Grave Reference: XI. B. 1.)
