S. F. Fisken,
Lieutenant Sidney Ford Fisken was born about 1893 and attended St. Andrew's College from 1901 to 1903.
During the First World War, he served in the Royal Artillery reaching the rank of Captain and being awarded the Military Cross in 1916. He returned to Canada on the Baltic, via Ellis Island, New York, arriving there on November 9, 1918.
He apparently served again during the Second World War, finishing as Lieutenant Colonel.
"For conspicuous gallantry and good work. He carried out a reconnaissance over ground which was swept by shell and machine-gun fire. The reports he sent in were accurate and valuable."
